VERISHIELD PACKAGING
For hearing protection, my task was to create a packaging strategy which would better reflect the hazardous and demanding environments in which it was used, whilst differentiating it from the competitors in this category.
I did this by researching the complexity of diverse product types, user needs and business requirements, to create a good, better, best strategy. This strategy differentiated the packaging look and feel according to the product price point, technology and journey to end user.
For all the packaging, the product took centre stage on the prime face. The packaging colour, materials and finishes changed as the product cost and technology increased. For better and best, the out of box experience was enhanced by the addition of interior fitments to hold in-box contents in place.
Throughout the range the brand signature red elements aligned on either the ‘hang tag’ or ‘pull tab’ or similar touch points, whichever was suitable for the environment it would be sold.
